Privacy Policy — Architectt

1. Who we are

Architectt ("we", "us") operates architectt.com and the related subdomains (studio, app, admin, bespoke, free). For privacy enquiries, contact hello@architectt.com.

2. Data we collect

Account data: email address, display name, and authentication identifiers handled by our backend provider.
Project data you submit: blueprints, photos, messages, briefs, and any files you upload. Stored encrypted at rest.
Usage telemetry: page views, errors, and performance metrics required to operate and debug the service. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.
Payment metadata: when you subscribe, Stripe handles your card details directly; we only receive the subscription status and the customer reference.

3. Why we collect it

To provide the service you signed up for, generate AI-assisted outputs you request, send transactional email (account, billing, project notifications), prevent abuse, and comply with applicable law.

4. AI processing disclosure

Content you submit (briefs, project files, chat messages) may be processed by AI providers — currently Google Gemini and the Lovable AI Gateway — to generate the outputs you ask for. We do not authorise these providers to train their foundation models on your content. Generated outputs are returned to you and stored against your account.

5. Third parties we rely on

Supabase — database, authentication, file storage (EU region).
Stripe — payments and subscription management.
Resend — transactional email delivery.
Google Search Console — SEO performance data on our own pages.
LinkedIn — used solely to publish our own editorial Journal posts to our company page. No user content is shared.
Lovable AI Gateway / Google Gemini — AI generation as described above.

6. Data retention

We retain account and project data for as long as your account is active. On account deletion request, we delete or fully anonymise your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g. invoices retained for accounting periods).

7. Your rights (GDPR)

You have the right to:

access the personal data we hold about you;
request correction of inaccurate data;
request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten");
export your data in a portable format;
object to or restrict certain processing;
lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (CNIL in France).

8. Cookies

We use strictly-necessary cookies for authentication and session management. We do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, so no consent banner is shown.

9. International transfers

Our primary infrastructure is hosted in the EU. Where a sub-processor (e.g. Stripe, Google) processes data outside the EU, transfers are covered by Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.

10. Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our practices change and post the new "Last updated" date above. For material changes affecting how your data is processed, we will notify you by email.
