Acceptable Use Policy.

This policy forms part of the Terms of Service. It applies to everything you upload, generate, share or automate through Architectt, including Blueprint projects, uploaded photographs and drawings, client portals, messages and review requests.

In plain language

  • Upload only material you have the right to use — photographs, drawings and site data included.
  • Do not use generated drawings as construction, engineering or permit documents without a licensed professional.
  • No harassment, impersonation, scraping, resale of outputs as a competing service, or attempts to break the platform.
  • Serious breaches can mean immediate suspension; we tell you what happened and why.

This summary is for orientation only. The numbered sections below are the binding text.

01Rights in what you upload

You must own, or hold a licence covering, everything you put into Architectt. That includes site photographs, survey drawings, architect drawings from a previous project, brand assets and any personal data about clients or occupants.

If you upload someone else's drawings or photographs without permission, you are responsible for the consequences and we may remove the material on notice from the rights holder.

02Professional and safety limits

Architectt produces study material: concept renders, indicative floorplans, material palettes, cost ranges and written analysis. These are not stamped drawings.

You must not:

  • submit generated output as permit, tender or construction documentation;
  • rely on generated output for structural, fire, egress, accessibility, acoustic or energy compliance;
  • present a paid architect review as a substitute for engaging a licensed professional of record in your jurisdiction.

A verified architect review is professional opinion on the material submitted, not a site inspection and not a certification.

03Prohibited content and conduct

Do not use Architectt to:

  • upload or generate unlawful, hateful, sexually explicit, or violent material, or anything involving minors inappropriately;
  • impersonate a person, firm, or public authority, or falsely claim professional registration or verification;
  • harass, threaten or abuse reviewers, clients, collaborators or our team through messages, portals or comments;
  • publish designs intended to evade planning, safety or heritage law, or to conceal unsafe construction;
  • scrape the site at scale, resell access, run automated account creation, or bypass token limits, quality gates or rate limits;
  • probe, load-test or reverse-engineer the platform, or attempt to reach data belonging to another account;
  • upload malware, or use file uploads to store material unrelated to an architectural project.

04Automation and fair use

Token allowances, generation limits and review pricing assume ordinary human use. Bulk automated generation, shared accounts, reselling generated output as a competing service, or circumventing spend limits are breaches of this policy even where no technical control stopped you.

05Reporting a problem

Report abuse, infringing material, or a security issue to hello@architectt.com. Include links and enough detail to identify the material. Security researchers acting in good faith, who do not access other people's data and give us reasonable time to fix an issue, will not face legal action from us.

06Enforcement

Depending on severity, we may:

  1. ask you to remove or correct the material;
  2. remove or unpublish it ourselves;
  3. pause generation, publishing or payouts on the account;
  4. suspend or terminate the account and, where required by law, notify authorities.

We aim to act proportionately and to tell you what triggered the action, unless a law prevents us. Where a paid account is terminated for breach, unused paid tokens are refunded only where consumer law requires it.
